- Point of Contact for a 7-person team, managing all part orders with the College of Engineering's funding administrator and keeping the project within budget.
- Led the SolidWorks design of the rover, coordinating with every subsystem team so their work tied into one overall design.
The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge is a competition that requires teams to design and build a human-powered rover to compete in an 8-minute obstacle course at NASA's facility in Huntsville, Alabama, on April 17–18.
The rover must be able to traverse the simulated surfaces of another world, support the load of 2 riders, and meet other specifications as outlined by the guidebook.
As Point of Contact (POC) of our team of 7, my primary tasks were to communicate all part orders with the funding administrator for the College of Engineering and ensure that the team stayed within budget. I also led the SolidWorks design of the rover and coordinated with team members from each subsystem to ensure that the subsystems tied into the overall design.
